We are currently inviting expressions of interest for the following roles.
NDIS Support Worker
Provide practical, person-centred support to NDIS participants in everyday life, community access, capacity-building and wellbeing goals. What you may do- Support participants with community access and social connection
- Assist with routines, appointments and day-to-day tasks
- Support emotional wellbeing, confidence and independence
- Encourage skill-building aligned to participant goals
- Maintain clear progress notes and professional communication
- Work respectfully with families, allied health teams and other providers where required
- Deliver supports in line with participant choice, dignity and safety
- Experience supporting people with disability, mental health challenges or psychosocial disability
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain professional boundaries
- Calm, consistent and participant-focused approach
- Understanding of trauma-aware and strengths-based practice
- Reliable transport and willingness to travel where required
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Mental Health, Community Services or similar
- Or relevant demonstrated experience in disability, mental health or community support
- Experience working with participants with psychosocial disability is highly regarded
Psychosocial Recovery Coach
Support participants with psychosocial disability to build capacity, strengthen recovery, navigate services and develop greater choice and control in their lives. What you may do- Build recovery-enabling relationships with participants
- Support participants to understand and use their NDIS plan
- Help coordinate supports, services and community connections
- Coach participants in self-advocacy, resilience, planning and decision-making
- Work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical supports where relevant
- Maintain clear documentation, reports and professional communication
- Contribute to safe, ethical and participant-led service delivery
- Strong understanding of psychosocial disability and recovery-oriented practice
- Ability to balance empathy with boundaries and accountability
- Experience in mental health, peer work, community services or psychosocial support
- Excellent communication, documentation and care coordination skills
- Respect for participant autonomy, dignity of risk and culturally safe practice
- Certificate IV in Mental Health, Mental Health Peer Work, Community Services or a related field
- And/or at least 2 years of relevant mental health or peer-related experience
- Lived experience, when paired with professional readiness and boundaries, is highly valued
Essential requirements before commencement
To protect participants and meet quality and safeguarding expectations, applicants must be able to provide or obtain the following before starting.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check, where required, or ability to obtain one
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module: Quality, Safety and You
- Current National Police Check
- Working with Children Check, where required by the role or participant cohort
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Right to work in Australia
- Valid driver licence and insured, reliable vehicle if the role involves transport
- Professional references
- Evidence of qualifications and/or relevant experience
- Willingness to participate in supervision, training and professional development
- Confidence using incident reporting, progress notes and privacy-safe documentation practices
- Understanding of participant rights, duty of care and the NDIS Code of Conduct
- Infection prevention and control awareness, including PPE use where required
Some requirements may vary depending on the role, the participant’s support needs, whether supports are delivered independently or through a registered provider arrangement, and whether children are involved.
